What to do when a size or colour is out of stock/unavailable? 

We have the solution! We have developed a feature to turn off and on variants within the step of a workflow.

In this example, the Red and Orange variants have been unchecked and therefore are unavailable.

In the workflow experience, it will look like the below for Colour steps.

For Illustration/Picture steps the unchecked variants will display an Unavailable banner across the variant as per below.

Improved Workflow Editor

Instead of toggling to WorkflowConfig, there are 3 tabs a the top to easily jump between

Config, Steps & Scenes and Rendering (new feature).

You can now toggle between showing the model whilst in the workflow or collapsing this to allow more space for your workflow. Currently, the model displays in its native form, not with any step defaults applied (stay tuned for this feature)

Config and Steps & Scenes retain the same features.

Rendering is all about how your model looks in the preview customer-facing experience.

We're excited to announce a much-needed series of changes to our UI in the SpiffCommerce Hub. We've been working with our partners to put together a condensed view of critical order information that can be explored in one place.

Order List View Improvements

The orders page is becoming critical as the platform expands and we want to ensure partners have all the tools required to access the information they need as quickly and as efficiently as possible.

Orders now contain a list of line item preview images. This is especially handy for finding things at a glance.

By clicking the expand icon on the left, you can open up an order to see a detailed breakdown of the individual line items of the order along with controls for executing fulfilment operations on each.

We've spent some time improving the organization and categorization of metadata as well, including some handy tools such as a copy feature on colour swatches for situations where you might want the hexadecimal value.

Date Picker Improvements

Our new date picker addresses several useability issues that were present in the original. We've shifted range selection into a single calendar allowing you to quickly pick a starting date and drag it across to the date you want to end on.

We've also removed the radial time selector and replaced it with a simple input field. Again, this is an attempt to minimize the steps you need to take to get the result you want.

We're looking for further feedback on this aspect of our UI. Please let us know what you think and if you have any further concerns by dropping a message via email, live chat or feedback on the announcement.

This date picker will be available across all list views on our platform as a drop-in replacement to the original.

This continues to be a focus for us and we'll be rolling out further improvements to the Spiff Commerce Hub that we're excited to share with you soon.

Affected Partners

We experienced some downtime for partners using the hosted experiences feature of our platform, these are experiences launched via the snippet we provide you when you integrate your e-commerce store with our platform. When attempting to load a personalisation experience you would have seen the following error: 'No currency code set.'

Response

We've been working towards improving loading performance & during the deployment of one of these changes we inadvertently broke code required for loading personalisation experiences in certain ways. We very quickly realised this and were able to revert the change shortly after. We've identified the problem and have put in place the required changes to resolve this.

It's important to note that internal designs & any stores that implement their own bespoke UI using the Core SDK were not affected by this downtime.

Under Regions in a step, you now have the ability to set Layers and Index Layers.

All exisiting Layers set in a workflow, will now show in Index Layer.

You can continue using Index Layer. As a default the Layer will be set to 0. You can also choose to add Regions to multiple Layers and within those Layers have Index Layers (or sub layers).

We will be developing a feature to lock Layers - stay tuned!

Bug fixes

• Fixed an issue that would cause multiple transactions to be created when the personalise button is clicked on a store.
• Fixed an issue that would prevent transactions from executing in certain environments.

• Fixed an issue causing converted PDF files to be unavailable to the frame step they were uploaded to.
• Fixed a memory leak that would occur during 3D scene cleanup.

• Orders with more than one line item will now correctly place via Zensmart fulfiller delivery channels.

• Fixed the display of configured theme font on the terms and conditions drawer in workflow experiences.
• Fixed an issue that would reset text when using the adjustment editor to modify element position.
• Multiple instances of Shopify theme extension customisation button can be placed on the same page now and will respect their individual configurations.
• Printer service will now correctly report errors to us.
• Resolved an issue with rendering of 3D preview causing renders to be missed.
